S-T-E-P-M-O-T-H-E-R
“S” is for her SPIRIT that God sent from above,
“T” is for TENDER her touch infused with love,
“E” is for EXAMPLE of pure devotion to me,
“P” is for PATIENCE well-practiced you see,
“M” is for MOOD her manner peaceful like a dove,
“O” is for ORCHID rare and beautiful is she,
“T” is for TEACHES wisdom to be the adult I was meant to be,
“H” is for her HEART love filled for me,
“E” is for her ENERGY tireless and free,
“R” is for RIGHT and here she’ll always be,
All together they spell “STEPMOTHER,”
A word that means the world to me.
