International Waffle Day~ Friday Humor

International Waffle Day is celebrated on the 25th of March every year. This celebration originated from Sweden in the early 1600s. However, it quickly spread to other regions. Waffles can be eaten any time of the day with fruits, cream, and jam.

Waffle day is known as Våffeldagen in Sweden, and it sounds like Vårfrudagen (Our Lady Day). This lingual similarity led Swedish families to mark Vårfrudagen with waffles.

Today waffles are made in different enticing ways. They have become much thicker and sweeter with deeper grids. You can celebrate International Waffe Day by trying out new recipes for waffles with friends and family. Enjoy these jokes and puns on waffles.
