Elements That Make A Small House Plan Feel Big

Your home is your safe haven, a place to relax and escape the dramas and stresses of everyday living. But, sometimes even your home can feel restrictive and confining.

Natural light increases your level of serotonin and makes you feel more positive.

If possible you may need to add more windows to your home. If this isn’t an option make sure the curtains and blinds are as far away from the windows as possible; maximizing the amount of light coming in.

You can also use mirrors to bounce the light around your home.

Furnishings

It can be hard to strike the right balance.

Minimal furnishings will make your home feel much larger.

But they can also make it feel impersonal and more of a house than a home.

Adding patio doors will allow extra light into your house and allow you to leave them open on warm days. To really continue the feel of space, add a few small green plants to your room near the outside area.
